  • Employment & Education History: Information provided in resumes or job applications or collected for employment consideration purposes, including employment history and references, secondary employment details, qualifications, schools attended, degrees, diplomas, licenses, or certifications earned.
  • Right to Work Information: Eligibility for employment including work authorizations.
  • Background Checks: Security clearance details as required for the employment position (e.g., background checks, credit checks, and higher-level security clearances).
  • Website Information: Details of visits to our website and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies including, but not limited to, IP addresses and domain names, browser version and operating system, traffic data, location data, web logs and other communication data, usage information and the resources accessed.
  • Any Other Information: As required to comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you.
  • Credit reference agencies.
  • Service providers and suppliers.
  • Business partners and affiliates.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information

We process personal data based on the following lawful grounds:

You have the following rights under Bermuda’s PIPA:

  • Right of Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal information and details of how it is processed.
  • Right to Correction: You have the right to request correction or deletion of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Right to Erasure: You have the right to request deletion of personal data, subject to legal limitations.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request limitations on how your data is used.
  • Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Exercising Your Data Protection Rights

To submit a request to exercise any of the above rights, please email the Data Privacy Officer at privacy@genevare.bm. When submitting your request, please provide sufficient detail to enable us to identify the personal information relating to you.

We will respond to all requests without undue delay.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. Once no longer needed, we securely dispose of personal information in a manner that protects your privacy.

Information Sharing

We may share personal data with:

  • Insurance companies, brokers, or intermediaries
